Fruits
According to the United States Department of Agriculture's Food Pyramid, I should intake 1.5 cups of fruits daily.

Fruits are important because they:
- It may reduce risk for stroke and perhaps other cardiovascular diseases
- It may reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes
- It may protect against certain cancers, such as mouth, stomach, and colon-rectum cancer
- It may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease, developing kidney stones and help to decrease bone loss
Some fruits that I could include in my diet:
- Apple
- Grapes
- Strawberries
Here's an example of how I could get my 1.5 cups of fruits in one day:
- 1/2 cup sliced of apples (1/2 cup)
- 16 seedless grapes (1/2 cup)
- 1/2 cup of strawberries (1/2 cup)
